Don was a funny, shrewd and wise friend. We had lots of laughs though we all met in a bereavement group. Even now, I laugh at his description of my crafting hobby - 'making rubbish out of rubbish' and his memories of silversmithing. Much loved and much missed by us all.

Uncle Don was my hero. He became my second dad when my own passed away when I was 9 and he and Auntie Pam cared for me until my dads funeral. I will forever be thankful and blessed to have such an amazing aunt and uncle and I know my life will never be the same without them. I know he is at peace now he is reunited with his true love, Auntie Pam and I just thank him for the memories he has given our entire family. Going to miss him with all my heart. Love you Uncle Don 💙 Kirstie xx
